Hold on to your bars and check out some preview tracks from Dale's upcoming release "One More, Once More". Swinging tunes, great arrangements, and Ricky debuts his "Blue Darlin'". Just go to the Mighty Fine Music website and click on Music and Video.

I can't wait to get the album. I always knew Ricky was a good player, but when I was in the same room as he was I almost fell over on my butt! Even though he lowers his E's with the wrong knee he's still OK in my book.

I listened to all the new songs and all I can say is WOW!! Dale and Ricky are just the greatest. They sound so fresh and current and yet so classic. They are what is right today with country music, I just wish Country Music would understand that and play them. Dale should be a huge star, maybe someday.

But honestly Ricky, I can't wait till the new album comes out, they just keep getting better.

Out here in the high country of west Texas, there is an almost unanimous opinion that the best thing that has happened to "real country music" is the Watson family surname...both Dale and Gene....It is also agreed that the best thing that ever happened to Dale Watson's career is Ricky Davis....Ricky continues to astound us with his new renovations of assorted licks applied to the 'swing' we all love...I call him the Teflon Steeler....each time I learn one of his new licks, he slips the noose and generates another that is even more difficult to master. Thank goodness. I can't wait to get the OneMoreOnceMore CD....Even at 70 years of age I think my old ticker can stand one more round with these guys....I've never looked at Rickie, thinking he's a technical picker, but more as "raw talent" that just kinda' oozes out of his fingers and his guitar. Keep it up, guy, I'm gonna' stick it out with you. FRED
