"Hungry For Music" Holiday Benefit, celebrating 10 years of the "A Holiday
Feast" CD series. The $16 ticket will benefit area music-in-school
programs.

Check out www.hungryformusic.com for more info.
There will be lots of local bands, beginning at 8 p.m. sharp, and the
first 300 people in the door will receive a free compilation CD of holiday
music by local artists.

Folks,
We know you're thinking about your shopping list more than your going-out
list, but don't forget about the music.
Last Train Home presents some of its big holiday shows right about now, and
here's the info:


* Thursday Dec 18 - State Theatre (Falls Church). We are part of the
"Hungry For Music" benefit night.... featuring Bill Kirchen, Rhodes Tavern
Troubadours, Hazel Dickens, Dudley Connell, The Grandsons, Dennis Jay, Blue
Moon Cowgirls and more..... Show's at 8 p.m. LTH goes on at 10:30.


* Friday Dec 19 - IOTA (with Andy Zipf opening) - 9 p.m.

* Saturday Dec 20 - IOTA (with the Youngers opening) - 9 p.m.

* Sunday Dec 21- IOTA (Sunday matinee, non-smoking, kid-friendly, with
Kevin Cordt Quartet opening) - 2 p.m.


....and of course New Years Eve !!!

Wednesday Dec 31 - IOTA
($30 gets you LTH with openers The Lee Wilhoit Situation, plus champagne
toast, party favors and Hoppin' Johns after midnight. A limited number of
tickets are being sold, so call now: 703-522-2868. There are also three
dinner seatings in the IOTA Cafe: 6 pm, 8 pm, 10 pm. Same phone to reserve
