We had the privilege of being at Mesa 3 weeks ago for the SWSGA 1st Annual Convention and one of the greatest highlights was meeting and hearing Doug. Since his debut album in '70, he has risen to higher heights. If you love jazz, his two CDs Jazz by Jernigan and his Country Jazz is some of the greatest steel jazz projects ever. Being a Curly Chalker fan, I never thought anyone could approach my appreciation for his playing but Doug has exceeded it. He totally blows me away and is one of the top players in my book. Hope to see him in Dallas. |

Anyone wanting to have an opportunity to sit down and get into the head of this great player needs to take advantage of this opportunity. I did it a few years back and highly recommend Doug's seminar. Did I mention what a what a blessing he is to us? Larry Behm |

I have to agree with what Gary and Larry have already noted. Dougs performance in Mesa was one of the highlights of the event for me. Doug's visit to Spokane is a great oppertunity for the Inland Empire steelers to show their support and learn from one of the Greats. Make you enrollment checks payable to Doug Jernigan and get them off to Darrell Klein E. 13811 5th CT., Spokane, Wa 99216. Your cooperation will insure your place in the seminar and help Doug with his materials preperation. |
