New Philadelphia, OH – The Hummingbird Music Studio of Sugarcreek, Ohio will be hosting, for the public, its fifth steel guitar show.

This years Celebration 2004 Steel Guitar Show, will take place April 23-25 in the Holiday Inn at 131 Bluebell Drive, SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio. Phone number,330-339-7731.

Line up includes, David Spires of Nashville, Tennessee; DeWitt ‘Scotty’ Scott of St. Louis, Missouri; Don Helms of Hendersonville, Tennessee; Doug Jernigan of Smyrna, Tennessee; Herby Wallace of Sevierville, Tennessee; Jerry Brightman of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; Mike Sigler of McConnelsville, Ohio; Tom Brumley of Branson, Missouri and Sonny Curtis of Columbus, Ohio.

The schedule is subject to change without notice. A complete listing of all performers and schedule performance times will be printed in the program book.

Tickets go on sale, Monday, March 1st.

Advance three-day tickets for $35 may be purchased from March 1 up to and including Friday, April 16, 2004.

Tickets are: Friday, April 23rd, $10.00; Saturday, April 24th, $20.00 and Sunday, April 25th, $20.00. A three-day package is $40.00.

Children age ten (10) and under are free.

Tickets may be purchased by MasterCard, Visa or by sending a check (or) money order along with a stamped-addressed envelope to Hummingbird Music Studio, POB 325,
133 Frederick Drive, Sugarcreek, Ohio 44681.

This should be done at least three weeks before the show dates to allow time for the mail.

Tickets may also be purchased at the door.

All sales are final. There will be no exchanging (or) refunds offered.

A tentative schedule at this writing includes demonstrations from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, on Friday, April 23rd.

From 6:00 PM to??, a steel guitar jam will be held. The format of two steel players playing thirty to forty minute sets with the staff band. All steel players are welcome to participate.

Free admission for the ‘participating’ steel players, for Friday only.

Saturday, April 24th beginning at 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM, “Steel Guitar in Concert”. A full day of non-stop music.

Sunday, April 25th. Church service to begin at 8:30 AM. Music by “Maple Gospel”.

10:00 AM – “Student Showcase”

11:00 AM – 6:30 PM – “Steel Guitars in Concert”.

I have scheduled things so that I can also be at this great event. I look forward to meeting some old friends and making some new ones. The wife is taking some time off and will make the trip with me. She also has family up that way some I'm sure she will get a lot done that weekend. Jerry...Scotty...looking forward to spending some time with you guys....maybe we can do dinner one night.

Hi, everyone we will be at the show and also have information about the Ohio Steel Guitar Organization . We will have some brochures and applications . We will offer a special for the show . You can join for $ 20.00 per year ,and husband and wife can join for $ 40.00 per year . Then thereafter it will be $ 25.00 per year . We think it will be a great Organization and with your help we know it will be . We want to keep it in a family atmosphere so everyone can be a part . Walter, you can go to www.hummingbirdmusicstudio.com To see a list of players. It is listed under Events. I don't know the times they will be playing, but Sat. the 24th. is the fullest day. They will all play on Sat. Like to see you make it!!!
