Everyone knows that the Dallas show was a great success and a great event for meeting new and old friends. I knew that some of the forum moderators would be there and looked forward to meeting them.

Here's Janice of the Music Forum, and director of the Forum Funeral Parlor, along with Pal Joey. They were happy to meet me.

Joey Ace, King of Canada. Nice crown Joey.

Next, Joey took me to meet the lovely, bubbly, Moderatress of Humor, Donna Dodd.

They really liked me. I could tell by the strangle marks on my neck. Not to be content with strangling me, Donna also kneed me as you may see from the photo.

I should recover by the time St. Louis rolls around.

Howard - yes, it was great to put faces with the names. Joey and Janice were just as I had expected.
Janice was totally "at home" among all the living. She even looked at guitar parts most likely for their real purposes. WHAT, would be another purpose – you ask? Well, for one – I really like the Hilton pedal when I ride with Tommy as a passenger. I put it under my foot to serve as a symbolic brake. It saves the mat and carpet! The rods are great for tomato plants. They’re sturdy, reflect the sun nicely and don’t rust. Now, the finger picks are my favorite. They are so colorful! Tommy’s are the XXL size – so I sometimes use them as decorative collars on our little Yorkie, Brandi. They also make nice collars on candles in a formal floral arrangement.

Oh, enough of showing off my Martha Stewart flairs – Back to Janice. She is a delightful person who has many, many friends in the steel guitar community. You can tell, she’s in the know. And she looked rather chic in her western hat!

Joey – hummmm, what to say about Joey. Look at that sweet face and tell me if you’d be glad you were friends? He looks like a big Brutus – but sweet as an angel AND tons of fun!

About Howard – Well, Howard surprised me really. I expected this big guy towering over the world – wearing strange accessories on his head and showing off his knees. Wrong, wrong, wrong. He is such a classy guy. No, I’m NOT making that up!! Yes, I AM talking about Howard! Let me finish, ok! Anyway, VERY nice – very funny and very spontaneous.

Great group of people to be associated with! We missed you, b0b!

Tony Davis, Anne Marie O’Keefe, CrowBear, David Donald and I are already planning our United Nations meeting in St. Louis!

Howard, I believe the correct term would be "Moderatrix". Sounds so much more... well, y'know...

Jim, as always, you're right. Spank you very much.....

If anyone happened to notice, there was "this guy" in the background lurking and looking on. When I yelled "HELP", he ran right over and helped Donna & Joey! This guy turned out to be a real Buddy!!

That's not a crown in the first picture, it's a halo.

Sally just told me it's not a halo. She said a light bulb appears over my head whenever I have an idea.

I must of had quite a few ideas that night.
