I was speaking with Tommy and Paul just before their set with Doug. They were lamenting about not doing well. As if! Any way, the trio blew the socks off the crowd with amazing melody lines and lightning riffs. In short they were terrific. Their renditions of Look At Us were awe inspiring to say the least. It is refreshing to see such gifted musicians watching each other and enjoying the others music. Truly an enjoyable evening. I thank the association for providing this level of entertainment.

I got back from Nashville at 6AM. It was foggy almost all of the way..Plus I got lost getting out due to all of the construction. But there was NO Fog ar The American Legion hall.! WOW..What a night.Al that I can say is "AWSOME" It was a gathering of old and new freinds enjoying being together, and hearing some outstanding music. Of course the high light was Tommy White,Doug Jernigan, and Paul Franklin!..They played every style supurbly! I guess every one would agree was the "Tribute to John Hughey of Look At Us" while he watched and listened.
I would like to thank all of the members that inquired about and were concerned about my health! Those fine musicians ARE Living and Carring people.

I thought it very funny that of those 3 guys, the only
one who brought his steel into the club in a case was Doug Jernigan. I think Doug even had a cover for his rack. But boy were they ever playin'.
