![]() New Steel guitar podcast! Check it out at: http://podcast.chinocochino.net This is a brand new podcast developed especially for steel guitar fans. At this point, the show is only just beginning, there is a lot of potential to grow in many directions. Please listen and don't hesitate to send your ideas or suggestions to: psgu12@gmail.com I would also like to invite everyone who has recordings of their own music to submit them to the same address as above for inclusion in the show as backgroung music or featured tracks. BIAB tracks, home recordings, live tracks, demos, anything you would like to share is welcome. Please note that this podcast is not a business venture. subscription to this show is totally free, there is no advertising, and never will be. It is simply a side hobby I'm taking up. I hope enough momentum is developed for this to become something interesting for all of us. For more information regarding podcasting, please see: Thanks, and let me know what you think! ![]() I don't have an iPod, so can anyone explain what a Podcast is? Is there another way to listen? |
Kiyoshi Osawa Member From: Mexico City, Mexico |
![]() Try the links at the bottom of the announcement post. Lots of good info there. You do not need an iPod or other portable player to listen to the podcast. Essentially, it's just an mp3 file. What makes it a podcast is the fact that you can subscribe on the webpage. You can use any number of "podcast clients" or "podcatcher" programs to subscribe, and these programs will automatically download the newest show for you to listen to. They can also be configured to download the files to your portable player, but this is not required. You can also just go to the webpage and press the play button and listen, if you want. ------------------ |

![]() Hey Kiyoshi great podcast. It sounds great coming out of my Dell laptop. You have a great "broadcast quality" voice and a great sense of humor. Why don't you post some of your PSG stuff. I recall many moons ago you posted a delightful little demo which sounded great. |

![]() Kiyoshi, Are the 1st, 2nd and 3rd podcasts around anywhere to keep us busy while you're away? Good luck with the new guitar. Bob P. |

![]() Uh... the first 3 podcasts were so embarassing I had to remove them, or risk scaring everyone away! And in any case, I was still settling into the format of the show, and there was not alot about the steel guitar. there was a lot of dead air, and my voice trembled every other sentence... Really bad! ------------------ |

![]() Thanks Robert. I didn't actually "submit" it, I just emailed Kiyoshi to help himself to anything on my website Sounds page that he might be able to use, and he chose that one. I'm honored to have it played on his podcast. |
