That is old. That is the one with the F clip bellcrank which is removable and easily put in another spot. I had a double 12 MSA wtih the same underneath.. I think it was my first MSA that I got from Reece....al |

History of this S-20 MSA. Bud and Julian built this guitar for Julian. I ended up with it in 1968 or so. I played it many years and it was a pretty good sounding guitar, but the earlier F shaped extrusions required lots of tune up and adjustment. I rewound the pickup in about 1974. I sold it to a DJ in El Paso in 1978. It's changed hands several times since. That's my story. Joe McHam |

Well, in all my years of playing, I've only seen two S20 steels...and that's one of 'em! One-of-a-kind, and belonging to a famous player, it could escalate back to it's original price (if more than one person is interested). |

So....how was this beast tuned and what did the pedals do? Was it tuned and played like a double neck squeezed into one neck? Also, how about that cool mic stand attached to the top? ------------------ Lee, from South Texas |

110 lbs in the case! Does anyone know the capabilities of this changer? Is it single raise, single lower, or what? Looks like it would be a good candidate for an extended version of my F diatonic tuning. What was the original selling price on this model?

Bobby-That model probably was double raise and double lower. The underneath looks like a D12 MSA that I had around 1968.My D12 with 10 and 7 was about $1500 then...al |
