This might be a Bobbe question. When was the first MCI made and when was the last one made? -- approximately. |

I thought they only lasted 5 years from 1983 - 1988. Maybe someone can confirm! |

This might sound like a one man show. If MCI produced guitars for five years and produced 20 per month, their total production would be about 1000 units. I wonder how many are still around? |

my EMCI is # 0003 and was told is was one of the later models.It was one of several of a custom mica order I am told. Great guitars! |

Actually, It has been pointed out to me that MCI started business in 1983, and Gretch closed it up in 1989/90. If that is the case then who knows how many MCI and EMCI's were made!! |

I have MCI D-10 Ser # 4002 and was told it was built in 1986.
