A post about Steel-Related Business issues is now in "Events & Announcements".

It's a worthwhile discussion, but doesn't really belong in that section. I checked the descriptions of the other sections, and there's really no right place for it.

Still, it's a good topic so it's staying put.

Any better ideas?

We get a lot of those kinds of discussions in Steel Players. It's sort of a bull pen sometimes.

Since it's not specifically about steel players, I put my vote in for Music.

Well Jim I actually do manage to make a meagre living out of playing steel although I have to play the ordinary guitar as well. The last time I had to work for that kind of money was 1989. I think everyone should put a value on what they do and work accordingly . I am just concerned that these guys dont realise the cost of living in Ireland and end up going home with a pocketful of memories. It's not bad monet if your'e living at home and travelling 30 mins down the road ,
but when you are stuck in another city with alot of time and little money It is a lot different .
