Dear Bobby Lee

About a year ago my husband (Uwe Haegg), on my behalf, placed a question on the Forum: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum10/HTML/004184.html

I would like to personal thank all the steelers from the Forum who responded to this. (...but I don't know how and Uwe is too shy/Danish to do it for me). It's a fantastic network (clan?) you have gotten there!! I (we) love you guys! Especially I would like to thank Michael Holland who guided us to Mike Headrick and his wonderful Mikron Studio! I went there to make my dream come true, just to try, 'once in a lifetime' to record two of my own songs. In September we are are going back for the third time, and after that I will have recorded songs enough for a CD! And it has been the most fantastic experience of my life! Memories for a lifetime!

Country Discovery Records (Mike Headrick) has just released their Summer 2005 Compilation CD, and one of MY songs is on it, and I'm SO proud!!! And even more proud to find that they actually PLAY it around the world!!!

The song is called 'It's Buying Time Again' - it's written for my husband, but I'm sure all you steelers and your spouses will recognize the theme:
You can NEVER get enough new "toys"....can you? It's a funny song, which I hope (think) you all (?) will like, if you ever hear it!?

They play it on the Country Bear Channel (and have done 9 times so far since it was released on Aug. 5th.! So I'm REAL proud.)

And I owe it all to YOU GUYS on the Forum, Michael Holland, Mike Headrick (and his wonderful team in the studio) + my husband of course!

THANKS A MILLION to ALL of you!!!! I'm SO gratefull you are there

Bobby....Please will you help me either post this message on the Forum or forward it to Michael Holland (his e-mail is not public), I think he will be happy to hear, that he helped me made my dream come true! Feel free to add my e-mail address.

BIG SMILES and hugs from Denmark - from a steelers wife

Well folks,
I've just listened to Ulla's new song...It's Buying Time Again.....and it's a winner! You really need to give this tune a listen. The ending of it is SOOOOO true, and I'm sure that everyone's "significant other" has at one time or another said this to them.
Ulla is also recording a new song NEXT WEEK about Steel Guitar Players....yes that's right, about US! So, go to Countrybear and give this lady's tune a listen, you won't be sorry. And you might take a minute to send her an email afterwards.....she's a new artist, and this is all very exciting for her and her family. I can't wait to hear the newest tune about the steel communitee (sp). Let's show this lady our support!

Bump for Ulla's song. Her husband is a member of this Forum, so let's give her some feedback!
