Brad's page of steel on the web has a version in E-tuning. Scotty sells a nice version of Sleepwalk for C6th non-pedal. Alternatively, try figuring it out! It's easy and good ear training. Off the top of my head, I think this is the chord progression:

Intro & Head:
C,Am,F,G
bridge:
1) F,Fm,C,G,C C7
2) F,Fm,G,Bb,G

I see from the two separate sheet musics that I have from 1959 that the intro may well be;
C Am F G7
but the main body of the song is:

C Am Fm G7,and that is what works for me.IMHO. Jeff Newman also uses the Fm in his Woodshed Workshop Version #42.

I sometimes like to substitute the Em chord for the Fm chord in the main melody.

And for you historians out there the writers are in this order, Santo Farina, Johnny Farina And Ann Farina.

your (am) and (fm) can both be played with the 4 chord (f) it opens up alot more doors instead of just the minor positions.

All times are Pacific (US)
