This is one way to play it using only strings 3 and 6.
F=6th str lower 1/2 step
LL= 3rd str lower 1/2 step
LR= 3rd string raise 1/2 step
str 3 - 16 17 16 14 16
str 6 - 16F 17 16F 14F 16
12 14 12 10 10 10 9
12 14F 12 10 10 10 9F
9 10LL 10LL 9 8LR 9 8LR
9F 10 10 9F 8F 9F 8F
14 16 17 16 14 12
14F 16F 17 16F 14F 12
If you don't have a 3rd string raise there is always the dreaded slant.
I find that playing stuff I know on the E neck over on the C neck gives me a better understanding of both tunings.
