This is a song which I've been playing for a long time. When I sat down to tab it out with my trusty digital recorder, I realized that I'd been nowhere near the part Bruce Bouton played on the original. I've tried to capture this as well as I can. This is great stuff, and if anyone ever doubted Mr. Boutons honky tonk credentials, well... My hat's off to you Bruce ![](http://steelguitarforum.com/smile.gif) 1 _______________________10__________________________________________ 2 ___________________________________________________________________ 3 _10________________________________________________________________ 4 ____________________10_____10___________10__10--10_________________ 5 ______________10-10a__________10a-10________10a-10_________________ 6 ________10-10b____________________10b_______________10b____________ 7 ___________________________________________________________________ 8 ____10_____________________________________________________________ 9 ___________________________________________________________________ 10___________________________________________________________________ 1 ___________________________________________________________________ 2 ___________________________________________________________________ 3 ___________________________________________________________________ 4 _10-10____10--10______8-8___8--8____5--5___5--5___3--3_____3--3____ 5 _10-10a___10a-10______8-8a__8a-8____5--5a__5a-5___3--3a____3a-3____ 6 ___________________________________________________________________ 7 ___________________________________________________________________ 8 ___________________________________________________________________ 9 ___________________________________________________________________ 10___________________________________________________________________

Here is an attempt I made quite some time ago. I don't have a recording, so I had to come up with something at practice one evening. The first two lines are all triplets.Click Here ------------------ Lee, from South Texas[This message was edited by Lee Baucum on 24 August 2002 at 02:53 PM.] |

Lee.... If you look at the third line of tab up above, you'll see how I interpret the ascending run. When you slow it down, you can hear him sliding the first part of each triplet. I think the digital recording transcriber is the neatest thing to come along in years! ![](http://steelguitarforum.com/smile.gif) |
