Sonny, I tried twice to send the BIAB file and it did not work for some unknown reason. Do this: use style C_JETHRO.STY and insert these chords, one chord per measure. G G Em G Em G D G and set the play loop for 8 bars. Don[This message was edited by Don Sulesky on 29 November 2002 at 04:13 AM.] |

Actually, I think this might work better. Each chord is one measure. G G G G Em Em G G Em Em G G D D G G

Droopy, your chart is in 2/4 time (2 beats per measure) which is common for bluegrass and technically right for FMB. However, most of the BIAB styles are in 4/4 time (including their Bluegrass styles) so the user would probably enter the chords as Don listed them above. One confusion with BIAB is that each bar is divided into 2 sections, beats 1,2 and then beats 3,4. There's no need to enter a chord name into beats 3 & 4 of a bar if they are the same as beats 1 & 2. ------------------ My Site - Instruction | Doug's Free Tab | Steels and Accessories

Maybe I should clarify that each chord in the chord chart I posted gets 4 beats. It could be written in 2/4 as Doug says but I've always preferred to think in 4s.Anyway, my chords will not work with the C-Jethro Style. I created my own style for banjo practice. It's just bass and mandolin chops - in groups of 4. gs[This message was edited by DroopyPawn on 08 December 2002 at 10:47 PM.] |
