I am looking for some tabs using the Franklin Pull. Anyone got any ideas? On this guitar it is on 5,6 and 10. |

Mark; Did you try a Search in the archives? I think there was quite a bit posted in the past. |

This pedal (The Frank pedal) is used in the pedals down position all the time.Since John used the key of D.Go to the 5th fret.Play strings 4,5,and 6.A & B pedals down.Release them and engauge the Frank pedal and then press A&B again. You can also use strings 4,6, and 10 (if) you're lower 10 a full step which is the full Franklin 4th pedal change. Another really easy example.10th fret, strings 3,4,and 5.B&C pedalsdown release them hit the Frank pedal release it let 3,4,and 5 ring no pedals. The Franklin pedal works well with the knee lever that lowers the E's to Eb. This is just the tip of the iceburg. As a matter of fact if you use Pauls E9 copendent you can mix it with any knee lever you have.Hope this helps get you started..............bb [This message was edited by Bobby Boggs on 17 December 2003 at 08:14 PM.] |

The g lever raises the first string a whole tone. I hope this helped. Tony |

Thanks for all the help guys. I'll try these changes. Paul Franklin has responded to this in the "Pedal Steel" section of the forum. Mr. Emmons also has a response in there. Thanks again guys. |
