I am offering for sale a 2004 Williams S-10 3X5 compact. This steel is in excellent condition, as this has been my at home practice guitar, I have taken it on only about 10 gigs. It looks very similar to the dark red steel on the lower left side of the Williams Guitar Co. product page, flamed maple on the front, birdseye on top. I ordered it with Bill's polished extruded aluminum knee levers (125 dollar upgrade, and a vertical knee, (another 125 dollar option). Emmons set up on the floor, knees: LKL: E's-F, LKR: E's to D#, VKL B's to Bb This steel features the 400 series changer, Bill's single coil pickup, Sperzel tuners, is really lightweight, but stable and has that beautiful Williams tone. I'd like to get $1900 including shipping. I think with all the options this steel would cost about $2400 today . No trades please. I am selling this steel to buy another Williams, a Gretsch orange D-10, 8X7. To see some pictures please click here:

Hi Bill, That is what Bill calls his S-10 without a pad, as far as I can tell. This steel has keys, but it comes in a case that is much smaller than your normal PSG case. Please feel free to send me a mail if you have any other questions. Please click here for pictures of this steel: [This message was edited by Gerald Menke on 15 November 2005 at 08:21 PM.] |

This is a near pristine guitar that plays and sounds just like it should. Gerald is a straight up guy. This is a very fair deal. Bob |

As a Williams player for a few years now, I can say without any doubt at all that this is a great deal on a great instrument. Somebody needs to grab this one. ------------------ |

I was asked about string spacing on this steel, at the changer, the distance is EXACTLY three inches from the B to the F# string. |

I concur with Steve. I own 2 Willy's and I couldn't say enough about them. They are truly wonderful guitars in every aspect. Wish I could add this one to the collection. BD |
