For Sale: My Rick DW Six console with legs. This guitar has an amazing tone, a cross between a Bakelite Rick and a Stringmaster.

I'm reluctantly selling this (My steel playing buddies say I'm nuts to sell it) but I am commissioning a custom built ukulele (ok, now you all know I'm nuts).

$895 - buyer pays shipping - USA sales only.

There are a few scuff marks on the chrome (see pictures) but for the most part the chrome is in beautiful shape. The original tuning machines turn freely and hold pitch accurately. The volume and tone controls move freely and quietly. The pickup selector is quiet and selects either the first, second or both necks.

The dull area on the wood above the "close" pickup is chrome polish that I didn't wipe off (it's wiped off now).

The original hard shell case is in 7/10 shape. It is somewhat scuffed but very functional and strong. All the latches work fine. The padding and plush lining are intact.

The three original easily-adjustable legs hold firmly at whatever height the player desires.

The integrated tailpiece allows you to either mount the strings through the body or attached to the tailpiece (see pictures). I would describe the tone of this steel as a cross between a Fender Stringmaster and a Rickenbacker Bakelite steel.

Pictures below.
