A friend of mine is getting ready to move from CA to TN, so he's unloading some stuff, including this very clean 1968 Fender 2000. He got it from Elderly a few years back and never got around to even setting it up. It's in the case [caseS--body case and leg/pedal bar case] pretty much as he received it. Cases (original Fender black tolex with logo) and steel are easily in excellent condition--a few nicks but very bright finish, clean all around. 10 pedals. All hardware in place including mutes.

I've seen this thing for the 30-45 minutes it took to inspect and post photos, but it looked A-1 to me.

Larry wants $1500 + shipping (dunno the weight but assume in the 75-80# ballpark). For questions, contact the man himself--Larry Flatt--(661) 799-2550. This is a home #; he works more or less 9-5ish hours, so you may have to leave a message during the daytime.

Just like the 69 model 2000 that I had - my first pedal steel guitar. Paid $800 for it new and got $750 on a trade in for a new 71 D-10 (Black ) PP Emmons.

I have an original factory owners manual--from e-bay--for this era PSG, Fenders' flagship model. Its a bargain price, IMHO. If you pick it up, I'll send a copy to ya!

No Fender literature with the steel, but see Jon Zimmerman's comment above.
