I thought I had a trade going ,but haven't heard from the guy since last Friday. So Here it is again. I have Emmons P/P SD-10 3 pedal & 4 knee levers Emmons setup for sale. Overall condition is great. Just put new strings on it and gave her a little cleaning and oiling. Plays great and sounds like an Emmons P/P should. Has an E-66 pickup on it. Case also in great condition.Rear pad is simulated tooled leather.Mica Is Blue Denim.Legs look good. This is a true SD-10 not a converted D-10. asking 1850.00 Shipped to US addresses. Will consider trades(no MSA's, Marlins)I am looking for a later model BMI D-10 or S-10. ------------------ [This message was edited by Daniel J. Daniel, I don't know if this is of any interest, but I've got a black ShoBud Pro III 8x5, that I've been thinking about parting with... I went back to the old thread, but the pictures didn't load. Could you email me some? Gabriel |

I might be mistaken but I didn't think Emmons made any SD-10's in p/p? |

Erv, The Emmons "Loafer" was an SD10 p/p in the Sho~Bud "LDG" tradition. Here's a link with a picture of an Emmons "Loafer" http://kotisivu.dnainternet.net/guylaine/pedal.htm Keep on pickin'! [This message was edited by Glenn Suchan on 19 May 2006 at 12:31 PM.] |

Emmons made several of the SD-10 P/P's,and as Glenn said ,they were called the loafer. I bought at least 3 new ones back in the 70's. Great guitars and they have that classic Emmons P/P Tone. |

Erv, An Emmons SD10 Loafer is what Reggie Duncan was playing on that incredible sounding video clip he did some time back. |

Thanks guys, I have an Emmons LeGrande II "loafer", however, I was unaware that it was available in a p/p. It's hard to tell with an Emmons as there are cut-outs for both necks in the end plate whether it's a D-10 or an SD-10. With Sho~Bud, if you ordered an SD-10 there was no cut-out for the C6th neck. |

Hi Erv, If you ever get a chance try one of the SD-10 P/P's. You will like them as you already have 2,3,4,5, D-10's. How many do you have I lost count? Anyway Danny has a nice SD-10 P/P guitar here for sale. Erv the nice thing about the end plate on the SD-10 P/P by the holes already being there , if you decided later on you wanted to add the back neck you could. And all the cross rod holes where there. Everything was there if you needed it and if you didn't you had a nice SD-10 anyway. Ron Lashley was a very smart man. And a real nice guy as well. Steve, I do have an SD-10 p/p, however, it is a converted D-10. I can tell because if you look under the hood, there is the cut out for the changer that is covered by the pad. It is a black Mica and the original wide pedals have been narrowed down. A real nice guitar. At present, I have 10 p/p's with another on the way. I think that I'll stop at an even dozen if I can find an early wrap around. If anyone has one for sale, please DON'T tell me as I can't afford it right now! |

Now Erv, You know you can afford it. If having enough room is a problem you can send a couple to me for safe keeping. Almost forgot to keep the topic on track another bump for my friend Danny. [This message was edited by Steve Dodson on 22 May 2006 at 08:32 AM.] |
