"SuperPro" mechanism, I'd say. The later model with the narrow foot pedals and triple-raise double-lower changer. I had a Pro 1 with the SuperPro mechanism and loved it. |

SP stood for "Special Paint" meaning that the guitar was ordered in a color other than the standard green for LDG models. |

There was a recent post using an article by Lloyd Green that explained the "SP" designation as being special paint. That is, it was not in the tradional green lacquer color. So, I'd ask, is this one green? ------------------ |
