ATTENTION :: SEE NEW PICTURES BELOW ::::

I hope I don't regret this...

I am selling my black Emmons Short Key Head Legrande. Bought it last year from the great and friendly Bruce Bouton.

It's black, a D10 with 8 and 4, pretty standard set-up, and about as mint as you could ever hope to find. Bruce told me it had been kept under a bed for years before he bought it and had it all tuned and tweaked out by his Nashville tech guy. I had him add the much sought-after Franklin Change to Pedal 4.

The only cosmetic flaw is a slight ding and scratch on one of the endplates, which I will show in a detailed photo - to be posted later, if it doesn't sell immediately.

It's a great, fast, stay-in-tune guitar that is probably still breaking in some. It sounds great and Emmons-y, very close to the Push/Pull I just traded for. Stock Emmons single coil pickups, Grover tuners.

I would like to sell the guitar as a package deal with these extras:
Brand New / Never Used Hatton Split Case w/ Wheels!
Custom made D2F cover!

You get both cases - the original hardshell case which is in excellent shape (I added Gaffer's tape to the plastic handle that was somewhat crushed and was hurting my hand).

Package Deal: $2900 shipped via Fed Ex ground.

Bump for a price break!

price reduced on package deal $2800 shipped. I would say that's a pretty excellent deal.

here's a picture that i did not take - it was sent to me when i bought the guitar from the aforementioned Mr. B.

i'll also entertain offers on the steel alone, without case or cover.

Thanks Mike A. --

Mike Archer sold me an Elite Seat, folks, so he can also tell you what a great guy I am! Ha! (Update: my cat nearly has all the black ozite covering off that seat... he's on a mission.)

Bruce nearly bought this one back from me - we had an agreement that if I were gonna sell it, he had first shot. That should tell you a bit about this guitar.

I'm selling the SKH because I got this Push/Pull I'm loving and a newer Legrande with Humbuckers - all are black, I am keeping the 2 that are most different from one another.

Please help me - buy this before I change my mind.

These SKH Emmons LeGrands are absolutely fabulous guitars. I owned and played one of these guitars for about 10 years....one of the best guitars I ever owned.....and fast becoming collectors guitars.....anyone who gets one of these guitars is getting something that will only increase in value, and an instrument that is truly top quality. This one appears to be on its way to Germany so that our forum friend Manfred Schall can enjoy it.

I'll confirm this when funds are received, will formally ask for this to be closed, and give a donation.

If the deal doesn't go through for whatever reason, I will let everyone know.

Thanks,
Mike

You can close this up. This Shorty is off to Germany to spend some time with forum guy Manfred Schall. What a pleasure doing business with you, Manfred! Have fun and success with it.

I'll miss that little Emmons. *sniff, sniff*

Donation on the way.

Mike
