![]() ![]() Richard, It's a booster (or buffer amp, depending on your preference in terms) with optional fuzztone/distortion. The typical place for it is in line between you guitar and your volume pedal. The booster helps reduce the dulling effect the pedal produces when you back off on the loudness.
