My Bethel SD10 is:
31 3/4 from end to end.
10 9/16 from front to back.

Excel keyless S10....7 3/4 X 29 3/8, small step @ the back, but no pad. 25# ready to play. I thought this post was a good one, even if I did have to get it out of the closet to measure it. My D10 Zum keyless is in there, too. Haven't broken a string on the
Excel, b0b. Put 'em on April of 2000 (don't play it much & it's C6th....no .011 to break!)

I wish Glenn Taylor from Denver would post the dimensions of his Moyo. It is the most compact pro quality steel I've seen, and fits nicely in the overhead storage bin when he flies with the steel.

Fessenden S-10 Double body with pad 29 1/2 end plate outside to outside by 10 1/4 front to back by 3 1/2 thick. Also my White steel guitr I built is S-10 is 32 3/8th end plate to end plate by 7 1/4 front to back and 3 1/4 inches Thick

My Emmons S-12 on a D-12 frame is in the studio -- I'll check it this weekend
