Hello everyone;
I was thumbin' thru the channels a while ago & came across an hour of Austin City Limit's show.It featured Johnny Cash & his full band..It looked like it was from the mid '80's..WHAT A SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 1st 45 min's was all Johnny; then he brought out his brother Tommy(they sang 2 together)then he brought out his wife June
(they sang a couple together) then he brought out June's 2 sisters & Carlene-
It was the BEST Johnny Cash show i have ever seen!!!!!!..The audience both young & old just LOVED it..It was FANTASTIC to see such a country giant doing what he does best:
PERFORMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check it out if it comes your way & no i did NOT get it recorded-could'nt get my VCR working for some reason-darnit....Ron

I saw it too.

It was taped in 1987. He looked great and sounded even better.

Johnny Cash is truly a National Treasure.

BTW: His 'given' name is J.R. He had to take the name "John" when he joined the Air Force. They would not accept J.R. as a first name for enlistment purposes.
