Here is the intro Green Snakes on the Ceiling by Johnny Bush. I'll tab it in the key of "E". I think he did it originally in "G"; but don't know anyone else that can sing it there(well actually Jake Hooker and Justin Trevino can..ha...

The words are:
(chorus)
"one fool to a stool; is what I heard the bartender say.
I never thought my own life; would ever turn out this way.
Green snakes on the ceiling; walkin' walls I can See.
One fool to a stool; and on this stool sits this fool Me."
(verse)
"One fool to a stool; One drink to a Hand.
No thread for your needle; no maam I ain't seen your man.
Anything you wanna tell me; I got No time for.
Just order a drink; and make room for One More."
Then chorus again then break(intro or half solo finish with intro)
Then you can sing the verse again and take'er out with the chorus...
Good luck...Hope that helps.
Ricky

Thanks Ricky and Herb. The very line that you guys didn't agree on was what I could never hear in the song. I guess Herb should know since he Backs Bush often. Thanks again guys for the words and the tab.

In the area of unsolicited advice...

Hey Jeff, I find that the first string 1/2 tone raise in the intro is a LOT easier to play fluidly using a pull behind the bar.

Cool Herb thanks for the Line....ah.ha...I fixed it.....and Jeff; like Brother Bill just said...it is easier and faster to pull the first string..than to hit that knee; if you even have it at all....ha.
We are all glad to help; as this song is played every night on just about every Stage I sit on.
