I know that Beck is probably not "your cup of tea" for most of you guys, but I just downloaded an advanced copy of his new CD(out in a week or so), and it is truly amazing.

If you like "Harvest" by Neil Young, this album will dedfinately make ya smile. Not as much PSG as he has used in the past, but it is still agreat album. Very laid back, spacey, and straight forward. He has aparently forgone the "shake ya booty" style that he had on his last album.

Just wanted to hep you guys to a great album. If you are Kazaa people, download "The Golden Age", a beautifull tune., and"guess Im doin fine" is also great.

Beck, ah my main man.
I've noticed that after a flashy album he usually goes for a relaxed one.

Right after his hit album 'Mellow Gold' for Geffen Records in 1994, he went and cut a real Lo-Fi folk-skronk album for the little indie label K Records.
Better book up a copy for myself, thnaks for the heads up Matt.

Upon more listening, I gotta say this sounds more like a Nick Drake album than Harvest. Stunning album.......WOW!
