Just had to post saying finally a country singer who featured just about every instrument. She had a girl who switched from fiddle to mandolin, girl on keyboard who also played accustic guitar, steel player ( I think it was a MCI) also played dobro, and lead guitar, a real knocked out lead player and someone from Springdale who switched from fiddle to guitar and whose voice blended perfect with Patty. She has a knocked out band and also very good harmony vocalists. Really enjoyed the show!
Dwight Yokum is suppose to play at the Sprindale Civic Center Oct. 2 which ought to be a good one too! Sorry I didn't get the band members names but they were all so talented.

I wonder if there was a woman with dark hair, very fair-skinned, who played acoustic guitar, fiddle, and sang high harmonies? That would probably be Carmella Ramsey. The way her voice mixes with Patty's is just magic.

Carmella was with Patty through her most successful period, but then left for awhile. When Patty played in Fort Wayne, Ind., in Oct. of 2000, I didn't expect to see Carmella. I was shocked to see her there!

My friends said I was like a 14 year-old girl at a Hansen concert.

They are my favorite female vocal duo of all time, hands down.

Often times Patty has a lead player named Tom Britt. If there was a solo section in the show where the lead player played extraordinary slide guitar on a shiny silver guitar, that was Tom. His slide playing is truly original.

I'll always have a special place in my heart for Patty and her music. You're right, she often has a tremendous band as well.

That was Carmella on fiddle and vocals. Incredible musician, and harmony singer. One of the best back up people in the business. I wish she'd put a solo album out. Tremendous high harmonies with Patty.

Jeff, the keyboard player had blonde hair but you know we like to change color every now and then. Patty did announce that she signed a record contract with Sony I believe. Also the lead guitarist had signed one too. You could understand the singing a lot more than the talking but it was very good. I forgot to mention the kid from Springdale also played the banjo for her bluegrass part of the concert.

Patty's got one of the most amazing voices in country music. She's a wonderful singer. I love every song she's recorded. I've been a fan of hers since she started country music in the eighties and her "Classics" CD is in my cd player right now. Brett Day, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel
