![]() I finally got me a copy of Tammy Wynette's tune "Apartment No. 9" on a collection CD, but No Credits to the musicians appear in the liner notes anywhere. Who did that steel? Every time the tune starts I can't practice to it 'cause it just blows me away... |

![]() The best version and I think it's the original was by Bobby Austin on Capitol and featured great playing by my hero Ralph Mooney....Have a good 'un, JH ------------------ |

![]() I think the song was co-written by Johnny Paycheck and Bobby Austin. Johnny did a great version for Little Darlin' Records with Lloyd G on Steel. Kind Regards, Walter ------------------ |

![]() Johnny Bush did an awesome version in the late 60's with Jimmy Day playing a classic solo. Just FYI. ------------------ |

![]() Thanks to all for the info. When I got the CD, I immediately put it into the CD player in my pickup truck. Listened to the tune, I wont say how many times, during my hour drive home. Truly awesome steel. My sincere thanks for this bit of musical history and entertainment Mr. Drake. |
