Although I'm not a music video fan, this you lady's video of "When I Think About Cheatin'" is a piece of art! Especially the image of a much young Hal Rugg on an old black Sho-Bud, and the other ghostly images. I think I saw Del Wood and lord only knows who else.

Maybe country isn't a lost art afterall. Best wishes to this young lady!!!

I agree, Ricky. I think that's a cool video. You know, that means that old vintage video is out there somewhere. Sure wish it was possible to get ahold of some of those old Opry, and other old country music shows on video.

I've got some old stuff from when the Outlaw Music Channel was available, but one can never have too much vintage steel playing on video!!!

Merry Christmas to all.

Yes, I concur! It's a great song, and it sorta gave me chills when all those greats faded into view. I thought I saw Homer Haynes, Chet Atkins, Kitty Wells, and a few others.

I wonder who could ID them all?

Guys, I know that several years ago, Al Gannawa(sp) put out a bunch of video tapes from back in the "50"s. The were in color and had great sound on them. I bought all 12 tapes with "4" 30 minute shows on each tape. They had all the great singers on there and also some great players, Day, Siebert, etc. Don't know if they're still for sale but I'd recommend looking for them.

Be very careful buying the "Gannaway" tapes! The set I got had only one show (1/2 hr. long) on each tape, not a good buy for almost $20 per tape. Evidently, someone decided that they would make a lot more money making it 48 tapes (4 sets of 12), instead of 1 set of 12, with each tape containing 4 shows.

I got the entire set of "Gannaway Gold" videos, and was very disappointed with them. Although they do give full-color glimpses of a lot of the old stars, each tape is only 1/2 hr. long. Of that 1/2 hr., you get 3 or 4 minutes of square-dancing, 3 or 4 minutes of "commercials"! That leaves just a little over 20 minutes of the stars. Had all 12 of these tapes been condensed down to a couple 2-hour tapes, I would have considered them a much better buy, and they'd have sold a lot more, too!

Here's a site I found that has quite a few classic country videos. I've never ordered anything from them, so I don't know anything about them, other than they have some interesting sounding videos.

Its a tribute to Gretchen that she did this. I'm telling you folks she's the real deal. She came right out of the Honky Tonks. I'm going to support her all I can. I hope they don't air brush her.

I saw the video for the first time yesterday, and it was super cool. I didn't much care for her first two singles but this one is good stuff.
