Just bought the L. O. album "Steelin' a Tribute to Ernest Tubb" - does anyone know what Lynn's intro remarks about a "not finished project" means. Will this album come out again later, with more tracks, more guests or what ?

Lynn is here in Florida, right now. I don't recall those comments and I have one of the first ones released.

He did say something about a newer version that also has Willie Nelson and maybe Ray Price on it too. That may be what he is referring to???

UPDATE: I just listened to the introduction on the copy I have and it's different than what you have. The copy I have I got from Lynn last September at our Florida Steel Guitar Club Anniversary Show.

Willie's on my copy with a fine version of "Half a Mind" - but no sign of Ray Price.

Update. I talked to Lynn today and there was a "pre production" and a "production" version of his CD. There's not much difference but that would account for the differences in the copies. Mine is a "pre production" version.

Lynn also said they are working on a "Volume II" and "name" singers that will be on that one will include Ray Price, Toby Keith and others. No time frame on when Vol II will be issued.
