![]() Found a really nice Les Paul-type guitar at a swap meet here, says "Eagle" on the headstock. Never heard of it, but found this site. Anyone know anything about them? Whoops, forgot the link: [This message was edited by Jim Phelps on 03 August 2005 at 09:00 PM.] |

![]() Made in Norway. Very frustrating way to set up the website: they don't let you click on a photo of one of the guitars to get more info about it; you have to click on the MODEL NUMBER (which is not even below the picture)! AS IF, you knew which model number goes with which picture! Stoopid. |

![]() Nope, not Norway. They are "designed" (or specced) in Sweden, and built in Korea by one of the larger OEM builders there. In the beginning, they were called "Sweagle". Generally considered to be good value for money. When I was in Stockholm last week, I tried a few of them at the JAM store, (run by the company behind the Eagle brand). Check them out at www.jam.se - click on "GItarrer, el" on the left and scroll down. Prices are in SEK including sales tax, 1 USD?7.60 SEK. Prices before tax are 20 per cent lower. There seems to be an Eagle for every taste, the lineup is enormous and growing fast. Nicely finished as far as I could tell. |

![]() Jim C, you're right and I'm right. Obviously there are two different manufacturers using the same name! The Eagle I was referring to can be found at http://www.eagleinstruments.nu/ [This message was edited by Per Berner on 08 August 2005 at 04:23 AM.] |

![]() This appears to be another Korean company that makes very good guitars at affordable prices. I'm not familiar with this particular compaany, but I've seen a lot of very impressive Korean imports recently, and they just seem to be getting better every year. I have 8 Korean guitars myself, and plan to get an 9th in about a month. |
