Wouldn't it be wonderful if all of the Buck Owens Ranch Show programs circa 1966-68 would be produced on DVD for sale to the public. To date, there are six shows of that era that are available in a three volume set, including the years (1970-71) Buck drifted from his traditonal roots. The videos of all of the other shows in '66-'68 are played at the Crystal Palace every Sunday morning during brunch. To see guests like Merle,Wynn Stewart, Charley Pride, George Jones, Hank Jr., and Waylon, among others,with their bands is an incredible treat. |

I have a perfect video of Buck Owens and His Buckaroos "Carnegie Hall Concert" 1966. April Fool! It is a pitiful shame that it wasn't filmed! I do have the LP though. I bought it in Fresno when it first came out. It's still in pretty good condition for 40 years old! It's one of my favorites. |

Some of the episodes on the Buck Owens Ranch Show videos were taped on March 15, 1966 - pretty close to that famed Carnegie Hall concert...Buck and the Buckaroos are even wearing the same suits they wore at the concert. |

Several years ago we had this discussion on the Buck Owens fan club site. We agreed to email the Crystal Palace and request the videos. I think that was very intrumental in getting those first videos released. |
