Just returned from seeing the Mike Cass show at Steelville, Mo. He was backed up by Ray Price and the Cherokee Cowboys plus Laura. Excellent, excellent steel playing. He was behind a GFI D10 and tone quality was awesome. Ol' Ray didn't do too bad either. Age has only improved on that voice. It was so refreshing to see a band hit the stage dressed in suits, white shirts and tie. The only long hair in the bunch was the girl fiddler. What I liked was the fact that Ray gave recognition to each band member, not once but several times.

Mike's one lucky guy, to have someone like Ray Price backing him up.
