Hello guys.I have an old CS800 along with a session 400 that needs to be repaired.Who or where in Nashville should I take them to.Also is there any mod for the old session 400 amp that they would know about?Thanks. Thomas Malugin |

I would send them to Peavey, their service department is really good, and a lot cheaper than a lot of other companies I've had service dealings with. Call Mike Brown when he gets back from the Texas show and he'll help you out.------------------

I have experience with this that is worth mentioning.I 'm sure that there are great amp repair folks out there...I took my NV400 to an authorized Peavey repair shop twice. I was charged $80 and it was not fixed. I sent it to Peavey and had it repaired AND the MOD installed,,,cost including shipping back to me was $82. Except that the clip holding the nut needed to hold the chassis in the cabinet didn't find it's way back to me, I only have 3 screws holding the amp in the cabinet, it still sounds incredible. Take the effort to take the chassis out and send it to Peavey, you'll not be sorry. |

In Nashville, call "THE AMP DOCTOR", They're out in Old Hickory. Phone # is (615)847-9687. Ask for Terry, tell him Nick Reed sent you. They just worked on my Webb 614-E and did a great job. They work on all makes and models including Peavey. They're terrific on old Fender tube models as well as Marshall stacks! That's THE AMP DOCTOR! Fast, Thorough, & Reasonable.
