I would send them to Peavey, their service department is really good, and a lot cheaper than a lot of other companies I've had service dealings with. Call Mike Brown when he gets back from the Texas show and he'll help you out.

I have experience with this that is worth mentioning.

I 'm sure that there are great amp repair folks out there...I took my NV400 to an authorized Peavey repair shop twice. I was charged $80 and it was not fixed.

I sent it to Peavey and had it repaired AND the MOD installed,,,cost including shipping back to me was $82.

Except that the clip holding the nut needed to hold the chassis in the cabinet didn't find it's way back to me, I only have 3 screws holding the amp in the cabinet, it still sounds incredible.

Take the effort to take the chassis out and send it to Peavey, you'll not be sorry.

In Nashville, call "THE AMP DOCTOR", They're out in Old Hickory. Phone # is (615)847-9687. Ask for Terry, tell him Nick Reed sent you. They just worked on my Webb 614-E and did a great job. They work on all makes and models including Peavey. They're terrific on old Fender tube models as well as Marshall stacks! That's THE AMP DOCTOR! Fast, Thorough, & Reasonable. I highly recommend them
