With my Mullen, I always set the shift at around 800. After I installed the LeMay kit, it seemed like 500 or 600 was a better shift point for that guitar. Lee |

When I absolutely have to plug into a Nashville 400..ha.. Post 9 Pre> what ever the gig calls for.Low +9 Mid -9 Shift 800 Hight +5 Pres +5 Reverb in the 4 to 6 area; depending on the reaction of that particular Peavey amp. These are pretty much the same for the Session 400 and LTD 400. Ricky |

Amp: Stock. Bright Switch: On. Pre Gain and Post Gain: Equal. Bass: Wide open. Mid: Off to just barely on, depending on room. Shift: 3:00. Treble: 10:00 -- 11:00, depending on room. Presence: Wide open. When I record at home I use slightly less treble since the mic I like tends to be fairly bright. Best, Jim |

I use a BMI S-12 through mine with the following settings: Pre gain.....4-5 Post Gain....6-7 Low..........10 Mid..........completely off! high.........8 presence.....8 reverb.......0 I have the LeMay mod and in place of the reverb I use an old Ibanez 2 space analog delay unit coupled with a BBE Sonic Maximizer. Both effects patch through the back of the amp......JH in Va. ------------------ Livin' in the Past and Future with a 12 string Mooney Universal tuning. |

Does anyone run their volume pedal in/out of the pre eq patch? |

Roger, Always!I use an old ShoBud pedal with a pot and you get very little tone loss through the full length of the pedal. Directly into the amp, the tone loss is major at lower levels of the pedal. |

I used to use the pre-eq patch for my Goodrich volume pedal all the time but when I got my Hilton they recommend that you don't do it with theirs....JH------------------ Livin' in the Past and Future with a 12 string Mooney Universal tuning. |

To better match a room's acoustics, I reset my amp just about each time I play. Usually it looks like this:Pre: 3 Post: 7 Low: 9 Mid: 0 to -3 Shift: Top dead center High: -3 to 3 Presence: -3 to 3 Reverb: 6-7 without delay, around 4 with the delay |
