I recently bought a used Peavey Digital Profex II card. It says on the card shell "Profex II Ed. 1 Industrogrungadelica". Is this card ROM card? The Profex II says the card is write protected and I can find no little lever on it (the card) to make it write-enabled. It's looking more and more like this card is not a Cache-32 card. Can anyone enlighten me a little bit on what I have here? Thanks and regards.[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 06 May 2005 at 11:15 AM.] |

Ray, that version of the card is a ROM(read only memory) and cannot be overwritten. The RAM version is what you need in order to store steel guitar presets onto. Check this site out for a RAM version; www.voicecrystal.com Or you can use a Roland M-512G RAM cartridge with your Profex II. Mike Brown Peavey Electronics Corporation |
