I have a little 30 watt Crate practice amp (which I bought at a auction for $20) that I play my Strat through, and it sounds great. My question is; does anybody have a larger one with reverb and EQ, and does it sound good? I would like a better amp for my Strat.

You bet!

Besides my versitle and battery run 'Taxi', I have a late 90s Crate Vintage Club 60/6212 that is a great amp for anything but extreme thrash, and a pedal in front takes care of that.

They go pretty cheap too!

I have their CA60D acoustic amp. It's not all that great with PSG but works well with my mandolin, mandola, and also a friends acoustic guitar (Ovation).

I have a VC508 that's about the size & power of a Champ, with separate volume & gain controls, and a stereo in/out jack. It's a little black tube amp. Sounds okay with guitar or lap steel, can be patched into larger amp or PA with ease, good size for practice or jams.

I have a VC3112, which I used for years and loved. Then it started popping and crackling. Brought it in to get fixed, the amp tech said that Crates are notorious for their connections going bad.

I've since had other problems with the amp, which make it un-gig-able. Between the other amps I use and not having the extra cash to put into another repair, the Crate has been sitting in a corner of the closet for quite awhile now.
