How many of you players out there are using a Hilton volume pedal? I just purchased my second one and still feel it is the best investment I have ever made. Let's hear it for Keith Hilton. |

Been using mine 3 or 4 days a week for the last couple of months, both with my Session 500, my smaller Fender DSP 90 (12" Cellestion speaker), and a couple of times into the 500 and another Peavey twin type (name escapes me) that I converted to 1 - 15" BW.... big venue, studio, outdoors or inside.... I have noticed a REAL difference in my tone. I be a Hilton man now. How 'bout this.... where do you other Hilton guys put your effects in relation to the volume pedal? I put 'em all (Ibanez "green" distortion box and Lexicon MPX) BEFORE going into the volume pedal. ------------------

Hi! Billy, I also use the Hilton for lead guitar. It works great. As far as effects are concerned, I take Keith's advise and experiment with putting the effects before or after the pedal and use the method that sounds best to me. I do put some Boss effects before. It depends on what your using. |

I have used many pedals and tyhe Hilton is the best by far. totally quiet and smooth as silk. I love it......  |

I've been seriously thinking about buying a Hilton pedal. Been using Goodrich for years. No problems with Goodrich just like to try different things. |

I too have known Keith for many years. Great person and a great person to do business with. I've had a Hilton volume pedal for about a year and a half. Since getting it, it's all I've used. I use to use a Goodrich 120 but due to not being able to get the proper volume pedal pot it is now "collecting dust". |

I use a Hilton also and its the best pedal I have ever had. Sometime I will get another one for a spare, just in case... Ron

Since being introduced to the Hilton Pedal several years ago, and purchasing one at a steel show in Magee, MS from Herby Wallace, I wouldn't go back to any pot pedal....it's the smoothest and quietest pedal on the market (of those that I've tried). that's not saying that other companies don't have good products, but it is saying that Keith Hilton makes a great product and stands behind it 100%......I know this from experience.....I had a small problem with mine shortly after I got it, and Keith took care of it for me immeditately by replacing the pedal......and I've not had a problem with it ever since then.....I recommend The Hilton............HAL------------------

Keith Hilton is one nice person to talk with on the phone and to do business with. He makes the best volume pedal in my opinion. I have two of his standard height pedals that I carry in my custom built Double Side-Car Walker Professional Player's Chair. If Keith Hilton stops making pedals, and Ray Walker stops making steel guitar seats; then, I guess that I will just stop playing steel. Both gentlemen are fine people, and I owe alot to each one of them!!! |

Well, yes, you have to plug it in to a power source, but that's the end of the downside. Most of us use a power strip anyway, so what's the big deal.
The pedal, is buttery smooth, I love the taper and the tone never changes with the position. Like we've been saying, who wants to go back to a scratchy pot pedal that alters the tone with the volume? Not me. |
