What is the difference between these units. Features? Upgrades? Thanks Dennis |

The BBE process is basically the same on all the units they make. The difference is in the application. Some are for PA or syudio applications and have low impedence XLR inputs, others are for guitar and have Hi impedence phone plugs.------------------ Darrell Owens www.darrellowens.com |

Aside from the fact that the 362 is a current model and 422a is discontinued,
1. They both are 2-channel processors with unbalanced I/O. 2. The 362 has ganged-pot operation - both channels share controls, so each channel must be set up precisely the same. The 422a has dual-pot operation for most if not all controls, and each channel can function independently. 3. The 422a has more tone control options - one can use 'auto' mode or 'manual' mode for the 'maximizer' process, and there is a separate 'Definition' control that increases the high-to-mid frequency balance.
I note that the manuals are online for both, at http://www.bbesound.com/support/index.asp[This message was edited by Dave Mudgett on 11 June 2005 at 08:53 AM.] |
