Hi Bob, one of the Roland cards does the job nicely, can't remember the exact product code though !Have a look here: http://www.voicecrystal.com/peavey.htm [This message was edited by Paddy Long on 27 June 2005 at 02:33 PM.]

At this time, Roland offers the M-512G RAM cartridge that will work with a Profex II, Tubefex or Transtube Fex. This cartridge is physically longer(sticks out of the machine further), but it will work.Mike Brown Peavey Electronics Corporation |

Hi Mike where can I get some peavey cards with some new presets on them that might lend themselves to electric guitar. I mentioned in another thread that I have a Peavey Tube Transfex and of course it has a card slot.So I was just wondering if I could find a new prefilled card somewhere that might give me some new presaets. One more question is it illegal to copy another preset card onto a blank card and if it isn't is ther a website where I can find presets and cards to trade with other folks. Thanks. |

Big Bob, there are two types of formats, ie; ROM and RAM. You are referring to the RAM cards which as you know, you can write from and to. Programs have to be loaded onto a blank RAM(read only memory)card and this is the type of cartridge that can be overwritten.I am not aware of updated available cartridges at this time. However, you can use any of the Jeff Newman steel presets for a clean guitar voicing. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact me here at the factory by calling toll free in North America at 1-877-732-8391, ext. 1180. I'll be glad to assist you.
