OK, I've got an RV-3 question. Does the RV-3 have an analog dry path or is it entirely converted and mixed in the digital domain? It seems that the newer digital pedals are all digital and the older ones had a mix control that blended the digitally processed signal with a dry, analog signal. I can't get thru to anyone at Boss who even understands my question.

Don, I have an extra RV-3,
with the Power Supply, I will sell you. Send me an e-mail and we can go from there.

Brad, this may answer your question. I have the entire RV-3 manual and this part is about the only reference between Dry and Mixed Signals. As you can see from the Manual, you can blend or Balance the Dry (Analog) and Effects (Digital) with the Balance Control. I use an RV-3 and like it very much. Sometimes the controls can be a little touchy. Hope this is helpful to you.

Roger, thanks for that. It still leaves it unanswered though. Although they call the dry signal "direct", it still doesn't specify whether that mixing is done all in the digital domain or if they're mixing a truly analog dry signal with a digital delay/verb signal. I do appreciate you posting that. Thanks!

Brad
