I picked up a vintage Fender volume/ wah wah pedal and it needs a few things:

-The wah wah pot is some Taiwan aftermarket thing

-The bottom oval shaped cover is missing

Any leads or parts source help is appreciated...

I bought mine on E-bay about 6 years ago. Infact I got one for Eddie Rivers (Asleep At the Wheel) also. You could check there. Scotty's replaced my vol. - tone. pots recently. They might be helpful in locating parts.

Moved to Electronics from No Peddlers. I hope you find your parts.

Jay,

It may be worth a call to
Doug Beaumier, as he often
deals with Fender vintagery.

The original pots are 250k. The difficulty in replacing them is finding a pot with the longer shaft and one that turns easily, so your string will not slip. My tech gave up trying to find a 250k pot and rewired the whole pedal using 500k pots, which are easier to find and work just fine.

The bottom plate should be easy to reproduce using a small sheet of aluminum and some metal shears.

Ernie Ball uses teh 250K pots. They come with a new brass pulley. I recently ordered two direct from them and rebuilt a Fender Tone and Volume control.

Call them and be patient, they will get you thru eventually to the right department!
