Do any of the 5 steel patches in the new Dual Deltafex resemble any of the "Newman" presets (effects only) used in the Profex II, Transtubefex, etc? The three Newman programs that I would be most interested in duplicating are "Jeff's #2, Jeff's Chorus, & St. Louis". I wouldn't mind upgrading to the newer Dual Deltafex provided that I can closely duplicate these 3 previously mentioned Newman programs. Please keep in mind that I'm only interested in the effects, thus the reason for considering replacing these units with the new Peavey Dual Deltafex. Thanks.

Jerry, I created those steel patches for the Duel Deltafex, but no I didn't compare the two units when I did that. It was my preference at the time. I must say that they do sound good for steel though.

Thanks Mike. Throughout the years, I've always depended on your expertise regarding Peavey equipment. If you didn't know an answer, which would indeed be rare, you always quickly found someone that did and I really appreciate that. My intentions are to replace my Profex II & Transtubefex with another Peavey unit. Being electronically challenged, I've always found Peavey to be very user friendly. Of course, Peavey's fine customer service has long been a strong determining factor regarding my purchases. I'll be buying a new Dual Deltafex in the near future. Once again, thank you very much.

Mike, i have been using a deltafex for a few months now , it sounds great with my session 400, but without programables and push button access it is very tough to use on the fly.. Is the Dual DeltaFEx any easier?

Yes, it is an "extension" of the original Deltafex unit, only you can store up to 100 custom presets based on the algorythms of the 100 factory presets. Here is the link to this product from the Peavey website; http://www.peavey.com/products/browse.cfm/action/detail/item/115819/number/00420020/cat/94/begin/1/Dual+DeltaFex%AE+Stereo+Effects+Processor.cfm
