A friend of mine recently purchased an early 50s Gibson GA-20 amp, and is wondering where/how to get a correct replacement handle for it. Any ideas? The amp is similar to this one: Thanks, Steinar ------------------ "Play to express, not to impress" www.gregertsen.com Southern Moon Northern Lights

Perhaps, some luggage shops might have some, more than reasonable facsimiles,at a much less price than some "custom" shops. Its worth a shot.------------------ ~ ~ ©¿© It don't mean a thang, mm if it ain't got that twang.

I may have to turn to ... Leather Trunk Handles ... for my recent purchase (a '37 Ricky amp).It doesn't have "pinned" handle loops ... so I gotta go with the "tabbed" ones ... A couple thoughtful forum members offered up some vintage handles ... but not tabbed ones ... but the gesture was very kind ... ------------------ Slants of the Week Hawaiian Steel Stuff The Casteels |
