With my new PedalSnake I've moved my power strip and wall warts back to the backline. Also running pedalboard output through the snake back to the amp. Very clean and tidy! [This message was edited by Michael Holland on 07 June 2006 at 09:59 AM.]

Good, now you have room to add a few more pedals to your minimalist set-up here. 8~)Seriously though, how about a list of what you have going there? I see quite a few boxes I don't recognize and I have a positive bank balance right now. A dangerous situation. 8~) |

I've seen showcases in music stores that didn't have that many pedals! |

Here's an update on the PedalSnakes performance. Not completely happy with the audio line quality. I plugged back in my George L's .225 cable from pedalboard to amp and the sizzle and fullness is back. But for moving the power strip back it's perfect!I won't bore everyone again with the list, but I would recommend the Homebrew Electronics Power Screamer, John. It's got alot of drive, but with more clarity than most pedals. It has three clipping options and a switchable boost that's like putting a Rangemaster in front of it. Good pedal! |

Thanks for the follow-up. I was very interested in the product although I must say that I find their website very confusing. I am always looking for better, neater and quicker solutions to some of the pedalboard hassles. Especially the power supply issues--one of my board configurations (I'm always changing things around, both on a whim and for gig-specific applications) requires 9vDC tip neg, 9vDC tip pos and 18vAC. I am disgusted with how tidy your rig looks . |
