Could I get a few of you guys that have played a Hot Rod Deville with 2x12s to share your settings. I just bought one, and
I want to play it at church tomorrow, and would like to have it set half way decent as to get a good tone. I'd appreciate it very much. I've done a search but can't find any settings.

Terry, my settings for steel are: Bass-12, mids-2.5, treble-2, presence-8.5, reverb-3 using the clean channel. That may be a little much on the bass control for some tho. I also add a little delay with a pedal. Hope this helps.

Terry,
Check this site out and you can do a search there as well. They have a lot of good info on all things Fender.
Good Luck in your search for tone

Thanks Larry. I have that site book marked, I just thought since there were several Tele players on this forum I could get some help here. I'll check over there.

Hi Terry, congrats on the amp purchase.

Here is basically what I do with the Tele's.

Not sure what the numbers are but in clok refrences..

clean channel for Tele..

Treble 11:00
Bass 1:00
Mids 11:00 or 12:00( less for steel )
presence 9:00

this amp can be very strong on the hi end with the presence and treble , just be aware.

good luck

t

Thanks Tony, I trust your judgment on settings for this particular amp, more than those guys over on TDPRI. I'll try those.
BTW> I tried my HRD and Nashville 112 together, and got what I was hoping for, a real good steel sound. Now I can use those two amps for steel and just use the HRD for Tele. Just right!
