Happy New Year everybody !
I recently bought a used Boss VF-1 and I like it a lot. Great amp models for steel , like the Twin and JC-120 , clean effects ...
Anyway , does anybody of you VF-1 users out there know of a way to tap the delay tempo on the Boss ? An extra pedal , midi ??
Thanks,

Happy New Year to you too Olli! The Boss units I've had, including the SX700 I'm currently using, all used the control pedal input for controlling tap tempo.

I believe their unit is the FS-5 footswitch. You need a momentary type switch for this function. I took a Nashville 400 reverb footswitch housing and just replaced the on/off switch to a momentary one.

Of course, you need to know which patches have the tap option.

If you don't have it, the manual might be downloadable from roland/boss. I know some forumites have this unit and may be able to offer more information.

Meantime, a link here with some of the specs for that unit. Good Luck! clickhere :edited to shorten link:
