10/22/30. Joined the Navy in 49 and remember sitting in a small coffee shop at the foot of Broadway, San Diego putting what few nickles I had in the juke box listening to Lefty sing "I love You A Thousand Ways". Thanks for that reminder, Janice.

Bill Stafford...you must have had a lot of nickels...I passed thru there in 1950 (probably the same little coffee shop on Broadway,)on my way to the piers to catch the 'nickel snatcher',water taxi, and Lefty was still playing "I Love You A 1000 Ways"haha
