I'm sure many of you know Ernie Reed. He is one of Mel Tillis's fiddle players. He worked for Faron Young for many years. Ernie had quadruple bypass surgery last Mon. I talked to him this morning, and he said he is feeling fine. He is planning to return to work 9/5/00. I just thought some of you would want to know. I don't know if he's online or not, but his ph. # is: 417-561-4647. I know he would appreciate a call.------------------

Here's wishing Ernie a speedy recovery and best wishes for the future. I've always enjoyed Mel and the Statesiders. He's always had a great group of musicians, especially steel players and fiddle players. Our prayers are with Ernie and family.
